What is 3/4 of wigs?
¾ wigs are basically half wigs that you can blend from the front of your own hair with most of them you can put like a headband, and blend your own hair with it. They have combs in the front of it that attach to your hair, which fits over ¾ of your head usually attaches near your bangs. People wear these because it’s harder to tell it’s a wig. ¾ falls are good for people that are not bald and do have enough hair so that they can attach it to theirs and add length, hide damage, and add volume, etc.
Pro: ¾ wigs are good to add length, volume, and texture to your existing hair. Half wigs/ headbands are also for a more natural-looking that is not noticeable. If you are considering wearing a half wig there will be less stress on your hairline. They are great alternatives if you are not quite ready for a full wig but still need or want the patricidal added features.
Con: ¾ wigs are good in a way but they can also harm your existing hair. They can cause headaches if the item does not fit properly or is worn incorrectly. Hair loss/ damaged hair can be caused by not cleaning and conditioning your wig regularly. Hair can get damaged by the lack of oxygen in head skin and hair root tissues. Also, make sure that the combs are not really tight to your exiting hair it is preferred to use bobby pins.
How to apply a ¾ wig?
To wear a ¾ wig, just put it on 2 inches back from your own hairline and blend your own hair with the wig by brushing or teasing your own hair over it. If you want to wear a headband wig, just put it on 2 inches back from your own hairline and smile. For a more natural look when wearing a 3/4 or headband wig you can either pull your own bangs out in the front or pull your hair back for an off-the-face style.
