How to find my color?

Choosing a hair color is an individual thing.
It shows off your unique sense of style and helps complete your personality. With our terrific selection of stunning shades and eye-catching¬ highlights, you can try a variety of colors without costly trips to a salon or harsh chemicals that can damage your hair.
Don't worry about matching your own color exactly. For a more natural look, choose a color that is close to or lighter than your own hair color. For a dramatic change, experiment with darker shades. Viewing our color chart should help you in your selection, but on-screen color quality may vary depending on your monitor's resolution.

How to find right wigs for may face shape?

Right Wigs by Face Type

Description

As its name implies, the Oval Shaped Face is longer than wide, with a jaw that's narrower than the cheekbones. Because the oval shaped face has no dominant areas and is so proportional, this face looks good with just about any hairstyle, length or texture.

The Round Shaped Face is characterized by a wide hairline and fullness below the cheekbones. The client may be overweight and the neck may appear short. These faces look very good with a geometric or linear style. Add height, when possible, and long, wispy side areas to make the cheeks look narrow. Comb hair close to the head on the side and at the nape.

The Square Shaped Face is characterized by a wide hairline and jaw. Square shaped faces need height on top and narrowness at the sides. Comb the hair off the forehead to add height to the face. Curly texture and wigs of hair around the face break the wide, straight lines common to the square face.

The Heart Shaped Face is characterized by a wider forehead and a narrower chin. Bring some hair onto the forehead to disguise its width. Keep hair close to the head at the eyes but make it slightly full around the jaw, and below and in front of the earlobes.

The Pear Shaped Face is characterized by a small or narrow forehead and a rather large pouchy-appearing jaw line. Comb hair to add width from the eye level through the crown of the head. Set and comb hair close to the head on the sides and at the nape.

The Oblong Shaped Face is characterized by a very long and narrow bone structure. The client who has an oblong facial shape often has a long, thin neck. Use a fringe or half-bang across or curls in the crown and nape areas. This helps to create the illusion of an oval.

How to style wigs?

General Tips:

Don't try to get every hair perfectly in place. This can make your wig look "un-natural".
Use, wig brushes, combs and other styling accessories. They make styling easier and extend the life of your wig.
Don't be afraid to use hair mousse or gel to achieve a certain style.
Have fun experimenting with different looks!

Synthetic Hair Style:

Try the "shake and go" method. Many styles need only a good shake or finger styling and they're ready to wear.
For tight curly or ringlet styles give the wig a vigorous shake, then gently lift and separate the curls with a pick comb or your fingers. DO NOT BRUSH.
For wavy styles with loose curls, brush lightly with a wig styling brush or pick comb using short, lifting strokes - just enough to relax the style.
For long curly styles, use your fingers or a pick comb to gently lift and separate the curls. DO NOT BRUSH.
For straight styles, brush in long, even, gentle strokes from the crown to the ends for a smooth, sleek look.
After each wearing, spray the ends of your wig with wig conditioner. Gently remove any tangles.
Never expose your wig to heated styling tools such as hair dryers and curling irons or other heat sources.

Human Hair Style:

Always use a wide tooth or pick comb for curly styles and a wire brush for straight styles. Avoid standard brushes.
When brushing, start at the ends and gently work your way to the roots.
To completely restyle your human hair wig, we suggest taking it to your stylist. If you decide to restyle it yourself, please follow these guidelines:
- Place wig on wig stand. Use standard or electric rollers or pin curls.
- Remove tangles with a wire brush or wide toothcomb.
- Pick up hair and wind on roller, smoothing ends as you go.
- Use medium setting with electric rollers or hair dryer. With hair dryer about 12" from wig, circulate heat evenly and continuously.
- Allow hair to cool before removing rollers or pin curls.
- Lightly brush or backcomb desired areas and spray with hair spray.

How to color or cut your wigs?

Choosing a hair color is an individual thing. If you're considering cutting or thinning your wig, we recommend seeing a professional wig specialist for this type of service. Your wig specialist will be able to properly give you the style and fit you are looking for. Coloring your wig with color rinse will damage its fibers. We do NOT recommend coloring alternative hair system. Please be sure to perform a strand test and section the hair properly before mixing color with your professional alternative hair colorist. It is required to check the color during processing as processing times may be shorter than the manufacturer's instructions.

How to put on a wig?

Step 1:

Remove and save the hairnet. Hold wig at the front hairline and gently shake to separate the fibers.

Step 2:

Spray your wig with a light mist of room temperature water, and use your fingertips or a wide-tooth comb to style.

Step 3:

Place your wig on a wig stand or on top of a hairspray canister until dry.

Step 4:

Brush your own hair back, away from your face. For longer hair, pin it up so it is away from the front, sides and nape of your head. A wig cap will help to keep it in place.

Step 5:

Put your wig on from front to back. Adjust the position so the front edge of the wig is just over your own hairline.

Step 6:

Use the ear tabs on the left and right side to center your wig. If your wig feels to tight or too loose, use the Velcro tabs at the back of the wig to adjust for the most comfortable fit. Tuck in any stray hairs and that's it.

How to put on Clip-on hair?

Gather your own hair into a twist and hold firmly against your head. Attach hair piece over your twist holding it securely in place. No hairpins are needed!

How to put on Draw String?

- Pull your hair back and place into a bun. (Make sure that your drawstring item is open.)
- Place the drawstring over the bun and insert the top comb.
- Secure the piece and insert bottom comb.
- After both combs are secured into hair, pull the elastic strings on both sides to tighten around the bun.

How to put on Clip in Hair Extension?

Step 1:

GETTING FAMILIAR WITH SNAP CLIPS
ELEGANTE clip-in extensions are secured to your hair by a series of Snap Clips. The Snap-Clips are sewn to wefts of ELEGANTE 100% Premium Remy Human Hair thus creating a quick and easy way to add beautiful length and volume to your hair. PRACTICE opening and closing Snap Clips to get familiar with the amount of pressure needed to operate the Snap Clips. Snap Clips open and close when pressure is applied to the center.

Step 2:

PRACTICE PLACING WEFTS IN YOUR HAIR
Using one of the 1 1/2" wefts (these narrow wefts are for placement on the sides of your head) PRACTICE, placing and removing weft in your own hair on either side of your head.

Step 3:

PRACTICE PARTING YOUR OWN HAIR
ELEGANTE clip-in extensions are attached along a horizontal part that you make in your own hair. The horizontal part should run from one side of your head to the other side and be in a SLIGHT "U" shape.

Step 4:

WHERE DO I START
If you are placing multiple wefts, it is recommended that you work from the bottom up. In other words, place the first weft in the desired location and then place the next weft ABOVE the first and so on. Keep in mind that the wider wefts are for placement along the higher horizontal parts, so it is recommended that you begin with the 5 3/4 wide weft. Once you have created your first horizontal part, secure the hair above the part with large hair clip, and comb your hair that is below the horizontal part so that your hair hangs neatly below the part.

Step 5:

PLACING ELEGANTE CLIP-IN HAIR WEFTS IN YOUR HAIR

Starting with one of the wider wefts, open all the Snap Clips on the weft. Place the weft below your horizontal part making sure that the weft is centered on your head. The top of the weft should run along the bottom of the horizontal part.

Once you have placed the weft in the desired location, snap close the Snap Clips, beginning with the center Snap Clip. Be certain that the Snap Clips are secured completely to your hair before going on. It is suggested that you pull the wefts slightly taunt before snapping close the second and third Snap Clips. This will minimize any folds or looseness in the wefts along your part.

After placing and securing the first weft completely, carefully brush or comb through weft and your hair below the horizontal part. This will remove any tangles or bunching of hair that may have occurred during placement of the weft. Release the hair above your horizontal part and brush or comb your hair again to integrate your new ELEGANTE clip-in extension hair to your own hair.

Congratulations! You have just added beautiful length and volume to your own hair.

How to style your comb add on?

Step 1:

Pull your own hair back into a ponytail, just below the crown. For longer or thicker hair, make two ponytails, one above the other. Be sure to pin back any stray hairs.

Step 2:

Remove the hairnet and hold the add-on by the combs. Shake gently to separate the fibers.

Step 3:

Unlock the combs and place the teeth of the combs (centered) over your ponytail(s). Position the teeth downward into the ponytail, and close the combs tightly to lock in place. It should feel comfortable yet secure.

Step 4:

If needed, use a wide-tooth comb for styling and styling spray, which is suitable for your own natural hair too.

How to style your fall (3/4) Wig?

Step 1:

Starting about 2 inches back from your own hairline that frames your face, comb the front of your hair forward.

Step 2:

Pull back the rest of your hair into a small ponytail or use bobby pins to keep in place. For longer hair, secure with 2-3 flat pin curls.

Step 3:

Remove hairnet. Hold your hairpiece at the front and gently shake to separate the fibers.

Step 4:

Secure the front comb on the crown of your head at the point where you separated your hair. Stretch the bottom comb down and anchor it at the nape of your neck.

Step 5:

Blend your own hair with the hairpiece by brushing or teasing your own hair over the hairpiece. Use a wide-tooth comb for styling and Styling Spray to hold style. You now have long luxurious hair with a natural look and feel.
